Hunting for a peacock tail

1.Once this summer there was a wonderful still air in Moscow. Two days in a row there was no wind and the air was unusually pure and transparent. The Moscow River looked like a mirror disturbed a bit by light ripples, and it only slightly distorted the objects reflected in it by toning down the colour and light contrasts. These images reminded me of impressionists’ paintings.

3.It wasn’t easy to shoot such images. The picture moves all the time, splashes of colour appear for a moment and then disappear in the waves and their place is taken by something even more beautiful or, on the contrary, ugly.
