How to shoot objects.

The shooting is made on a transparent table for GALA magazine. Backlighting of the plastic from below helped to accentuate the originality of the material of the razor handle. At that the shadows of the epilator, which are caused by low sliding edgelighting necessary for revealing the material texture, become almost imperceptible.

It’s impossible to go without different light reflectors when shooting objects: light disks of different size, light diffusers, flags, pieces of broken glass. You can brighten or darken the necessary parts of the object being shot with the help of these simple facilities. At that you can accentuate the parts of the object only in necessary places, not all over the field of the shot (See photo 4, 5).

The table is backlighted from below and from behind. This lighting is enough to break through the bottle of perfume. However, at the same time the figured metal tap is brightened with a small light disk from the camera side and with two additional pieces of glass from below.
Camera Nikon 5000. Sensitivity 100 ASA. Exposure ¼ sec. Aperture ?,6.

I shot the perfume in a metallized bottle with a glass cap with the help of light brush. Plastic table was backlighted from below. I made a slight accent directly under the bottom of the bottle having held up the brush there for a little more time. The body of the bottle was backlighted from the left and right. The glass cap wasn’t specially backlighted. There was enough light for it coming from the plastic table backlighted from below.
Camera - Nikon coolpix 5000. Sensitivity 100 ASA. Exposure 1/8 sec. Aperture 7,6.
