  6. Portraits of women on the contrary are Romanized. This is done with the help of blurring. Photographers use it as a symbol of tenderness, airiness, and romanticism of the illustration. In pre-digital epoch to obtain such romantic blur photographers put different soft filters on the objective: kapron stockings, glass plates lubricated with vaseline, cord glass, special factory-made filters. After digital photography appearance digital acutance was added to the named above means. There are a lot of techniques that photographers use for women embellishment; it’s an impossible task to recount all various means in one article.
The theme of acute and blurred is not exhausted yet. Blurring can make a photograph mystical, imparts general features to a concrete image, picture characteristics. All these will be the theme of the next article (See photo 9).

 
   9. A yawning foetus. From series “Fruits of love”. Original file was rather acute. The soft blur is a result of digital retouching. I made a double layer and defocused it with the help of gaussiam blur filter. Then I made it semi-transparent and rub through the mask, saving original acutance in some zones. The light was a daylight from the window. Shadows were softened with a light disk. Camera Model Name - Fuji Finepix S2 Pro. Camera lens Nikkor 70-200/2,8. Sensitivity 100 ACA. Exposure 1/20 sec.
